what is the diffarence between thinking pellets and floating pellets

Floating pellets remain ontop floating when poured into the water while thinking pellets go to the pond bottom

Floating feed pellets float for a long time like 12 hours or more ontop of water where as the sinking feed pellets float briefly usually less than 3 minutes then sink to the bottom of the water surface
